Shark Ridden Waters
Shark Ridden Waters is taken from Gruff’s recently completed, and previously unannounced, third solo album. Pre order the 12″ here , the record promises to be the most accomplished yet.
Ahead of the album’s release, Gruff will be setting sail on a voyage of small, stripped back UK and European dates. See the live section below for details.

Something is up with the link to pre-order, or I’m out of it:”Office Outlook Web Access?”

Do you need me to be tour manager? I have experience in organising swimming galas, friends birthday parties and plays where my cats are dressed as humans.
I can keep a secret, very rarely break wind and can be relied upon in tense and exciting situations.
Plus, I love Gruff and would do the job for 5% cheaper than what he would be charged by any other johnny cum lately.
Please give it some thought.
I remain,
Boyd Hackett.

Heard this song recently on 6Music. Thought there was something very familiar about it and then…YES!!!
- the hook is from ‘It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’ by a very underground Psych Pop band from 1967 called The Cyrkle!
Nice one Gruff!
I love love The Cyrkle too…check out The Buckinghams as well!

mmm? Why was my comment yesterday removed?
All I did was express an appreciation of the hook in Shark Ridden Waters which comes from a sampling of ‘It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’ by The Cyrkle.
Can’t see why that would be a problem? Unless Gruff want’s it kept a secret?

Nicely!
There’s a bottle of ‘Pampered Sea Mineral Foam Bath’ some ‘Pantene Pam-V Conditioner’ bottles and ‘Herbal Essences Normal Hair Shampoo’ ready and waiting in our bathroom should the magical Mr.Rhys need to build himself a hotel in Mancunia.

Nice, love this song. I wonder where that sample from the end comes from, the bit with “no use crying/ no use telling me how much you’ve changed/ it doesn’t matter any more” Its a great sample to end the song!
